Fernroyd B&B's breakfast was a complete game-changer! I indulged in a full English that was made to order-perfectly cooked and tasty! The room was spacious, clean, and inviting, with comfy furnishings, made it hard to leave.
On arrival, there was a strong smell, made my allergies flare up a bit. I was also hit with a passive-aggressive vibe from one of the owners about a smoking accusation that left me feeling uneasy, even though my room was lovely overall.

Trudi and Malcolm. I appreciated the spacious Double Room. The clean, inviting space had lovely touches like comfy pillows and an electric kettle for tea. The breakfast was a good selection, with the cooked option being my favorite! It really set me up for the day ahead. I did notice that parking can be a bit tight when the hotel is busy, but there's plenty of on-road parking available. A more detailed guide on local transport would have made things easier, as I had some trouble figuring that out. The shower pressure in my room could have been stronger. Those were minor though, as my stay overall felt quite cozy and relaxing.

Fantastic hosts with excellent breakfast options! The room was impeccably clean, with lovely touches throughout. We felt at home and couldn't fault the hospitality. It was all perfect for a short escape. Just a 20-minute walk to attractions!
A bit more information on local transport would be helpful.

The hosts were fabulously cute, and my room was everything you'd want-super clean and cozy! Can't beat the location either, just a hop from everything fun!
Parking was a bit of a jigsaw puzzle, with some guests playing musical chairs with their cars. Who knew a car park could be so dramatic?

Recommend for a weekend respite
Spacious room, cute hosts, equipped with an electric kettle for tea and coffee and delicious breakfast options that included a variety of cereals, fruit, and a full English breakfast, made my stay enjoyable and convenient as it was also just a short walk to the tram station.
Nothing bad to say.

The ground floor suite was spacious and well-lit, with twin beds and a cozy sitting area. A lovely shower room stocked with quality toiletries and fluffy towels added to the pleasant experience. Breakfast was a highlight, offering a wide selection from fresh fruit to a delicious full English, all freshly prepared. Some noise could be heard from the hallways during the night, and a few amenities felt underwhelming for the price.
